Our web site connects you to full-text resources

You can access thousands of articles, books, and digital media items through our web site. Remember, you will need to have an ID and a record in our system to access our resources off-campus. When you click on a link to one of our resources for off-campus access, you will be redirected to another server where you will be asked to authenticate or prove you are affiliated with Defiance College. You will be asked to enter your name and Library bar code number. Depending on the resource, you may also be asked to identify your home institution (Defiance College) in a drop-down list. If you experience problems, please call the main Library number, (419) 783-2481, and ask for help.

You can see our recommendations for the best article citation databases, reference sources, and journals for the course(s) you are teaching by viewing our LibGuide subject guides. Please encourage your students to use these resources.
