Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer (BOC)
The Board of Certification, Inc. (BOC) sets the standards for the practice of athletic training. The BOC is the only accredited certifying body for athletic trainers in the United States. The BOC was incorporated in 1989 to provide a certification program for entry-level athletic trainers and recertification standards for Certified Athletic Trainers. The entry-level certification program is designed to establish standards for entry into the athletic training profession.

Scheduling begins when you receive the Notice to Schedule (NTS) email from Meazure. Scheduling periods vary from exam to exam, so check your Candidate Handbook or your test sponsor's website for more information. Login to the web link in your NTS to schedule your exam site and date, then Meazure will immediately send you another email to confirm your appointment.
