These guides focus on the best resources to use to complete research assignments in particular majors at Defiance College.
One-on-One Consultations
Students work closely with a librarian or library staff member to go over an assignment's research needs as well as locate credible and authoritative source material.
Content is flexible and you and the lead librarian will collaborate on this issue. Typically, sessions focus on specific skills that will benefit your students most. We are happy to do database demonstrations, but our sessions strive to go beyond this level and teach students skills that are transferable from one resource to the next.
