Current students, faculty, and staff can use the College's wireless network.
The wireless signal is available on both floors of the Library. Download a copy of the Defiance College Networking Handbook to get specific set-up and configuration information.
If you have trouble setting up your wireless, please ask at the library's circulation desk.
The Audio Visual and Instructional Technology department maintains an inventory of technology housed in each classroom. For this & more information on checking out laptops and projectors, click on the following link.
A 21 seat PC computer lab is located on the main floor of the Pilgrim Library; it is equipped projector and screen that can be controlled via the instructor station in the lab. Occassionally this lab is reserved for classes, if it is reserved notices will be posted.
All computers have the normal suite of lab applications found in other campus computer labs.
A 20 seat Mac classroom/lab is located on the lower level of the building in room 103. It is equipped with a projector & screen as well as a chalk board.
Regular classes are scheduled in this room throughout the semester. However, you are free to use this lab when there is not a class scheduled. A sheet listing scheduled classes is posted near the door.
There are also technology items available to current DC students, faculty, and staff for check-out.
