Responsibilities: Provide Leadership and Supervision for Success Services: Pilgrim Library & Informational Resources, Academic Support Center, Writing Studio, Structured Study Program (Study Tables), First-Year Experience (FYE), Pathways to Academic Student Success Program (DC PASS), DC F1RST (first-gen student program), Academic Coaching, and other academic retention initiatives.
I enjoy helping students improve their academic and research skills so they can own their college education. The best part of my job is creating spaces, services, and experiences that promote student success at Defiance College. When not in the Pilgrim Library assisting students, I enjoy walking & hiking, reading, binge watching British movies and tv series, cooking, doing jigsaw puzzles, and most importantly, spending time with my family.

Responsibilities: Hire, train, and supervise student assistants; oversee circulation activities for all types of library materials; assist in providing reference services to library patrons using all available sources and formats; oversee the Structured Study Program (study tables), and manage Success Services social media accounts.
The Pilgrim Library's location at the "heart of campus" serves as a welcomed gathering area that enables connections and collaboration between students and information. My motivation is that individuals utilize the building, its resources, and staff to further their academic success. As an alumna of Defiance College, the pillars of our Mission Statement "To Know, To Understand, To Lead, To Serve" shape my daily interactions.
