The Pilgrim Library maintains a collection that includes:
- 65,000+ books
- 125 print journals/magazines
- 4 daily/weekly newspaper subscriptions.
The Library also maintains Defiance College's special collections, such as the Hench Autism Studies Collection.
We are a member of OPAL (Ohio Private Academic Libraries) and OhioLink. Through these consortium memberships, students and faculty have borrowing privileges at 121 libraries in Ohio including:
- 16 public/research universities
- 23 community/technical colleges
- 52 private colleges
- The State Library of Ohio
- Borrowing privileges are also available at 26 public libraries in the state of Ohio through SearchOhio.
And through these partnerships students, faculty, & staff have access to:
- over 46 million books and other library materials
- more than 100 electronic research databases
- over 24 million electronic journal articles
- over 100,000 e-books
- nearly 85,000 images, videos and sounds
- over 58,000 theses and dissertations from Ohio students at 31 Ohio institutions
